Assembly Torque Specs (HFA)
Ensure the following torque specs are used to re-tighten the following components anytime the HFA extruder is disassembled for nozzle changes and or heat-break replacement. The easiest way to measure the torque spec for both of these components is by using a adjustable torque wrench, such as the one pictured below. This can be purchased from many different suppliers.
Example of an adjustable torque wrench
Nozzle Torque Spec: 18 in. lbs (2.0 Nm).
Heat-break Torque Spec: 30 in. lbs (3.4 Nm).
